Back in the seventies the son of a local German Mercedes Benz dealer called Bodo Buschmann decided that his Mercedes was not quite exciting enough. So with the help of some friends he modified the engine and exhaust, lowered the car and added more leather to the interior. Parked at his father's Mercedes Benz dealer ship customers admired his work and started asking if they could get the same treatment for their cars.

By 1977 Klaus Braachman and Bodo Buschmann had teamed up to start what we all know and recognize today as BRABUS. However in a short time Mr Buschmann became the sole owner of BRABUS.

From its humble beginnings Brabus has emerged as the largest and most exclusive name in Mercedes Benz customization. Well known not only for it's huge capacity engines, large wheels and lavish leather interiors, but also for the customers that buy them. Elite businessmen, Formula 1 drivers, celebrities and even Mercedes Benz board members choose to drive exclusive Brabus built vehicles.

Brabus offer tuning options for all late model Mercedes Benz vehicles, especially new releases such as the W221 S class, W164 M class and W219 CLS.
